Congratulations to the 31 graduate and professional students who will be inducted into CSU's Alpha Omega Chapter of Alpha Epsilon Lambda, the National Honor Society of Graduate and Professional Students at the Spring Honors Convocation on April 22.  Students are eligible if they are leaders in graduate student organizations services and are in the upper 35% of the GPA distribution in their College.  President and EdD student LaVonna Williams and Faculty Advisor Dr. Paula Carney will induct new members.

Special Education CSU Tuition Waiver

Contact Person: Chairperson of Graduate Programs in Education Department, Education Bldg. 319, 773-995-2086.

Individuals seeking a MSED degree in Special Education for initial or certified teachers are eligible for this waiver.

The award covers up to 10 credits per term and may cover fees. The awards are renewable for up to two years pending available funding and satisfactory progress towards degree.

Criteria:

  • Graduate student, holds at least a BS/BA degree
  • Be admitted to the MSED Special Education Program or permission of chairperson
  • Maintain 3.0 GPA
  • Demonstrate ability to perform activities related to discipline and maintain criteria for award
