Well health information management is the core of Mercy Hospital because we have such important information that we house in our department. We maintain and secure all the records of every single patient that comes through the system. Its my duty to protect these records and make sure it has all the components...I actually did have an amazing experience at Chicago State University. The program itself actually help me to see more of the bigger picture when it comes to health and the different type of needs that is needed in health care. Health Information Management was one of them, and Chicago State University help me to understand what Health Information Management was, the importance of it, and they really help me to focus on the future needs of Health Information Management.

I've been here for nine years and yes I do enjoy my work, I love it here, that's why I have been here so very long. This Hospital is family oriented and I really love that about coming to work.
