Project FAME/ Upward Bound seeks to contribute to the cultivation of future leaders by providing high school students with a variety of academic, leadership, and cultural enrichment opportunities designed to generate high levels of achievement in precollege performance and ultimately in their higher education pursuits.
The Upward Bound Program is a pre-collegiate initiative sponsored by Chicago State University and funded by the U.S. Department of Education, since 1983. This program serves approximately 115 high school students each year. The Upward Bound Program works with students who have the desire and potential to attend college, but need supplemental academic support and college-readiness services to help them realize that potential. |
