Carmita A. Coleman, PharmD is the Associate Dean, Office of Student Affairs, and Associate Professor of Pharmacy Practice at the Chicago State University College of Pharmacy (CSU-COP).
Dr. Coleman holds a bachelors degree in chemistry from the University of New Orleans, a Doctor of Pharmacy degree with honors from Xavier University of Louisiana, and has recently completed a Masters of Art in Administration with Distinction from the University of the Incarnate Word. Dr. Coleman completed a Pharmacy Practice Residency at Hermann Hospital in Houston, Texas.
In 1999, Dr. Coleman joined the faculty as Assistant Professor, and later Director of Continuing Professional Education, at Hampton University School of Pharmacy. There, she developed and taught a variety of courses, including the integrated components of Drug and Disease Management. She then went on to help establish a new school of pharmacy at the University of the Incarnate Word in San Antonio, Texas. In 2005, she joined as Assistant Dean in the Office of Student Affairs and received tenure and promotion to Associate Professor.
She currently serves as the National Executive Director for the Student National Pharmaceutical Association (SNPhA), the nation’s premier professional organization for minority pharmacists. She has held this position since 2006. Under her tutelage, the organization has seen substantial membership growth and professional impact.
Her research interests include patient and student outcomes, health disparities, and cardiovascular and women’s health.
Allison C. Rose, M.A., Psy.D. is the Assessment /Learning Specialist for the Chicago State University College of Pharmacy (CSU-COP). She has served on the faculty of the Chicago State University Psychology Department and City Colleges of Chicago for seven years. She also provides consultation to higher education student support services programs specializing in development and implementation of skills programming. Dr. Rose is a member of many professional organizations dedicated to industrial psychology and human resources. Her research interests include job satisfaction, selection in education, training and performance management.
Dr. Rose holds a Bachelors Degree in Psychology from The University of Illinois at Chicago (2001) and both her Master’s Degree in Industrial-Organizational Psychology (2003) and Doctorate in Business Psychology (2008) from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology.
Stephanie Berry, M.S. is the Business Support Specialist for the Chicago State University College of Pharmacy (CSU-COP). Mrs. Berry holds a Masters Degree in Education-Instructional Leadership from the University of Illinois at Chicago in 2003. She served as an educator for the Chicago Public School System with certification in physical, life, and social sciences for 20 years. Mrs. Berry joined the College of Pharmacy in Student Affairs in 2011.
Amalia Diaz, B.S. is the Program Advisor for the Chicago State University College of Pharmacy (CSU-COP). Mrs. Diaz holds a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Management Information Systems from Chicago State University in 2005. Mrs. Diaz began her career at Chicago State University as a Procedure and Systems Analyst in the Undergraduate Admissions Office. She served in that position for 3 years. In addition to her current position, she serves as an advisor for the Organization of Latin American Students (O.L.A.S.). As active alum and employee, Mrs. Diaz is proud to be involved in a program that allows her to pay it forward.
Marcella Dillard, B.A., is the Customer Service Representative II for the Chicago State University College of Pharmacy (CSU-COP). Ms. Dillard was born in Chicago and received her degree in French from California State University in Los Angeles. She has over twenty years of experience within the fields of both corporate and non-profit. Ms. Dillard used to work at Chicago State University as extra help in the Graduate Counseling Office and enjoys her present role in the Office of Student Affairs.
Sultan Farabee, is the Recruitment and Student Affairs Coordinator for the Chicago State University College of Pharmacy (CSU-COP). Mr. Farabee holds a Bachelors Degree in Biological Sciences from Chicago State University in 2001. Mr. Farabee began his career at Chicago State University as a project counselor in the Premedical Education Department in 2005. He served in that position until 2007 when he became the Assistant Director of the newly named Prehealth Professions Office. Mr. Farabee joined the College of Pharmacy in his current position in 2009.
