Graduate Student Association

The Graduate Student Association is an organization comprised of students that have been admitted to the Master of Social Work Program (MSW) of Chicago State University.

Mission Statement

The Mission of the Graduate Student Association is four-fold:

  1. To provide supplementary educational opportunities for MSW students.
  2. To provide consultation to the Department of Social Work on curriculum or other matters relevant to the student body.
  3. To provide service to the campus community and surrounding community.
  4. To provide opportunities of fellowship for student, faculty and staff.

Program size = 65-80 students

Average age = approximately 29 years

Social Work experience average = 6.9 years
