I have a B.A in Business Administration with a concentration in Management from Robert Morris University.

Something people would be surprised to learn about me is a great question. There are many things that could be surprising to learn about me, but one that sticks out is that I write poetry. A quick fun fact: I had two of my poems published in Robert Morris’ Egg Magazine while I attended there as a student.

I say Chicago State because it gives you a chance to break out of your shell. College can be the bridge between childhood and adulthood. The shift is an opportunity for you to reflect on the person you were in high school, and the adult you want to become. If you silently sat in the back of every class in high school, use your college experience to become more outgoing. If you wish you’d studied more in high school, college is an opportunity for you to hit the books harder. I say Chicago State because, we’re affordable, we produce smart and creative thinkers determined to make a difference in the world. Instead of asking why us, I would counter that by asking why not us?  As you continue to make your college decisions, I will leave you with this: nothing as close can take you as far as Chicago State.

My best advice for college searching students will be to know yourself, be thoughtful, ask for help, practice honesty not perfection, breathe deeply and often.

I am ready to answer questions about admission requirements, our many programs and degrees, campus life, the Rise Academy and our prestigious Honors College.
