 Dr. Jamilah R. Jor’dan is the Interim Dean of the College of Education and Associate Professor in the Department of Early Childhood and Bilingual Education at Chicago State University. She has served as chair of the Chicago State University’s Head Start Advisory Board and has served on various university committees.  Dr. Jor’dan is past vice-president of the governing board for the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) and is a trustee for Children’s Home and Aid.  She earned her doctorate at Loyola University Chicago in Research Methodology/Human Development.  Her research interests include community violence, family engagement, leadership and family strengthening practices and early care and education program quality improvement.

Dr. Patrice C. BoylesDr. Patrice C. Boyles is the Acting Dean of the College of Education and Associate Professor in the Secondary Education, Professional Studies and Recreation Department at Chicago State University.  She has been a member of the Chicago State University faculty since 2000. She has served as the Technology and Education Chairperson, College Assessment Coordinator, edTPA Coordinator and has served on various university committees.   Dr. Boyles' teaching experience spans approximately 2 decades. She is the Second-Vice President of Illinois Business Education Association (IBEA) and has been recognized by North Central Business Education Association (NCBEA) for Outstanding Contributions to Business Education by an Administrator or Supervisor of Business Education in 2017. She earned her doctorate at Northern Illinois University in Counseling, Adult and Higher Education. Her research interests include career and technical education, business education, workforce development, online learning, assessment and cyber security.
