Chicago State University is proud to provide a high-quality education, along with
an intentionally designed suite of non-cognitive supports through our Student Success
Initiative, to our deserving student scholars. Seventy-eight percent of our students
are African American and Latinx, and 81% percent receive financial aid. For first-generation,
non-traditional students, the chief barrier to college entry and graduation isn’t
grades, it’s the inability to afford the rising cost of a quality higher education.
That’s why, together, Chicago State Foundation and Chicago State University are laser-focused
on identifying and distributing more scholarship dollars to deserving students, providing
nearly $4 Million in scholarships this school year alone.
Your generous financial support helps CSU ensure that no student is forced to give
up on his, her or their dream of earning a college degree simply because they can’t
afford it. Together we can – and we are – transforming lives!
