Dr. Garret-Wilson was nominated by one of her students who had this to say:

"Dr. Wilson not only knows the subject she is teaching extremely well, she lives it daily and relates her teaching method to her on the job experiences of helping clients while in the psychology field. Most importantly, Dr. Wilson does this with a big, warm, and humorous smile."
