CSU Open House Draws Hundreds

A lively and colorful Chicago State University campus welcomed hundreds of prospective news students to it's 2013 Open House on October 14. Taking advantage of the Columbus Day Holiday that gave many area high school students that chance to consider their college future, CSU rolled out the red carpet and presented students with a look at what they can achieve in a CSU academic program.

Students were welcomed by CSU Enrollment Management staff and given a tour of the campus which included multiple presentations from faculty and staff about what to expect in college, how to pick a major, and how to finance an education. Many current students made themselves available to talk to their younger counter parts about life as a CSU student. The first in a series of Open Houses to be held into next year, the event was a major success and introduced Chicago State University to a whole new generation of future scholars.
