MBA Application and Admission

Apply today for admission to Chicago State University’s MBA program, which accommodates working professionals with weekend classes. 

Requirements for Admission:

1. Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution with a minimum grade point average of 2.75 in the last 60 semester hours completed.
2. Completion of prerequisites courses with a minimum GPA of 3.0. (This requirement can be met via: 1. courses completed in undergraduate curriculum; 2. courses taken from an accredited institution; or 3. relevant work experience [Accounting, Statistics, Economics and Finance]
3. Personal Statement -  Upload in the Documents tab
4. Two Letters of Reference - Request via the Recommendations tab
5. Scheduled interview with MBA Admissions Committee.

 

Additional Requirements for International Applicants

• Bank Statement -  Upload in the Documents tab
• Copy of Passport - Upload in the Documents tab
• English Proficiency Test Score:
  • Acceptable Scores from: TOEFL, IELTS, DUOLINGO, PEARSON- Report Official Scores to Chicago State University 
  • Or, Request Waiver: Click here complete the form and upload in the Documents tab under English Proficiency]                                         
• Prospective students are required to submit a Scholaro's GPA report through the dedicated custom link for Chicago State University here.
