Homepage Alerts

We can put a banner up on the homepage for important news & current campus events. We welcome the usage of this. These should usually last a few hours or days. Suggested usages are:

• Commencement, Convocation, Parades
• Weather Alerts
• Building or Parking Lot Closures
• Campus Safety Issues

 

Types

The color is dependent on the alert level you choose. We will default to a blue Announcement if we question what level that should be.  The 3 importance levels are:

• Announcements (MEDIUM BLUE)
• Warnings (ORANGE)
• Emergencies  (RED)

Process

1. Approval is need by External Affairs. 
2. Email to websupport@csu.edu and cc the person in External Affairs whom approved the information below & how long this should stay up for. We do not use Subtitle as takes up too much space.
