I began my pharmacy journey in 2005 in a summer program when I was in high school
that allowed me to work as a pharmacy technician at CVS. |
2. What do you do as a Senior Clinical Oncology Pharmacist? |
I create, review, and maintain utilization management policies and clinical strategies
for use of oncology drugs. |
3. How did you get started in your specific practice? |
I found it on LinkedIn. However, I began working in oncology at the University of
Chicago Medicine 6 years ago. |
4. What advice do you have to become a specific practice? |
If residency is not for you, I would say get board certified, network, attend CEs
and training in fields related to specialty and oncology. |
5. What is your favorite part of being a specific practice? |
Helping a very vulnerable patient population receive access to proper cancer care. |
