With Transferology, you can:
- Search for your courses to see if they transfer to CSU
- Compare course equivalencies from colleges across the country
- Plan your transfer pathway before applying
Keep in mind that Transferology is an unofficial guide for course planning. It gives
you a good idea of how your credits may transfer, but final decisions are made after
you're admitted to CSU.
Once you're admitted, CSU will officially review your transcripts and apply your transfer
credits toward your degree.

It depends, but Transferology can give you a good idea.
Here’s how it works:
- Create a Transferology account at transferology.com.
- Add the courses you’ve taken (or plan to take) from your current or past schools.
- Click “Search for Matches.”
You’ll see a list of schools (including Chicago State University) and how your courses
may transfer. You’ll also see a % Match icon that shows how closely your courses line
up with each school’s requirements.
- The “Matches” tab shows courses that already have transfer equivalents.
- The “Misses” tab shows courses that haven’t been evaluated yet.
These results are unofficial, but they’re a great way to start planning. Be sure to
talk to your academic advisor or a transfer admissions counselor to confirm which
courses will officially transfer.
