Liefu Jiang received his doctorate from the William Allen White School of Journalism and Mass Communications at the University of Kansas. Dr. Jiang’s research and teaching interests cover strategic communication on social media, social media engagement, corrective actions on social media, and the relationship between social media use and acculturation.

Prior to coming to Chicago State, Dr. Jiang worked in the industries of journalism and PR for seven years. Jiang also holds a master degree from The University of Texas at Austin, and a bachelor degree from China University of Geosciences Beijing.
