Scholarships and Microgrants

  • Cougar Return: Cougar Return is a debt forgiveness initiative that puts former CSU students back on a pathway towards a degree. The program targets CSU undergraduates who left the university in the past three years without completing a degree, owe a balance of $1,500 or less, and are within a few semesters of graduation.
  • Finish Strong Micro-Grants: Finish Strong microgrants (maximum of $500 per semester for up to three semesters total) help students cover modest financial shortfalls when there is a gap between what is owed to the University and what is available to the student through financial aid and scholarship sources.
  • CSU Student Scholar Emergency Fund: The Fund provides a one-time gift of up to $500 to CSU students who are currently enrolled. Students should demonstrate educational or financial need due to an emergency, accident, or other unexpected critical incidents related to the COVID-19 pandemic.
