Foreign Languages & Literatures
Advisor: Dr. Maria Moreno-Florido
The Program validates the importance of learning languages through; teaching, study abroad programs, and culture. This advantage, in turn, better prepares students to enter the job market and experience success in their personal, academic, and professional endeavors.
The Foreign Languages and Literatures' Program represents an essential connection of intellectual, artistic, and cultural traditions within an international network of humanities.
Students of all levels in our language programs can participate and become members of the French Club (Le Cercle Francophone) and the Foreign Languages Organization (F.L.O) which brings together students in the promotion of all languages taught in the program and organizes cultural events. Students who demonstrate outstanding academic achievement are invited to join the CSU Chapter of Phi Sigma Iota (the National Foreign Languages Honor Society).
