CSU featured on Matter of Fact with Soledad O’Brien

Chicago State University was proud to be featured in a segment on the Matter of Fact Listening Tour, hosted by Soledad O’Brien.

Two CSU students and Hope Chicago recipients, Anaiah O’Neal and Chris Brackenridge, were interviewed and featured for the piece. Their stories are part of the larger segment about the recently launched nonprofit Hope Chicago, which funds four-year scholarships for Chicago Public School graduates and one adult family member. Dr. Janice Jackson, CSU alumna and CEO of Hope Chicago, and Pete Kadens, Founder and Co-Chair of Hope Chicago, were also interviewed for the program.

The last Matter of Fact Listening Tour reached millions of people and we are excited to gain this type of national recognition for our campus and our students.
