On Tuesday, November 12, 2024, Dr. Mohammad Abdus Salam, Chair of the Department of Computing, Information and Mathematical Sciences, and Technology (CIMST), hosted two distinguished guests from the University of Akron, Ohio: Dr. Sadhan C. Jana, Associate Vice President for Research and Business Engagement and BF Goodrich Professor in the School of Polymer Science and Polymer Engineering, and Dr. Junpeng Wang, Associate Professor in the same department and a renowned physical organic and materials chemist.
During their visit, Dr. Jana addressed graduate computer science students, providing an overview of the interdisciplinary PhD program at the University of Akron and emphasizing its innovative structure and research opportunities.
