Veteran's Resource Center
The Veterans Resource Center (VRC) wants to provide a safe place that allows veterans
access to multiple services during their academic journey. Whether you are on active
military duty, transitioning to civilian life, a dependent or spouse, continuing your
education the VRC will do our best to ensure your continued success.
The Veterans Resource Center here at Chicago State University is your partner throughout
your journey. We bridge the gap between military and civilian life. Get the education
you need for your next mission. The VRC aims to provide the following services/resources
such as, but not limited too:
- Document and obtain credit for military training, including with getting a copy of
your military transcript
- Help dependents understand and how to use their benefits
- Assist in acquiring and filing any needed forms or records (DD-214, 22-1995)
- Assist with understanding how to apply for your educational benefits, or if you’ve
already used these benefits, exploring options available to you
- Assist in choosing a career path that best suits your particular need
- Usage of computers
- Free printing (10 pages or less)
- Coffee, Tea and snacks are available
