The Most Magnificent Lambda Chapter of  Delta Sigma Theta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated at CSU

Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated was founded on January 13th, 1913 on the campus of Howard University by 22 illustrious women.

The Most Magnificent Lambda Chapter was chartered at the University of Chicago  in 1921 by 7 of the founding members:

• Osceola McCarthy Adams
• Marguerite Young Alexander
• Freddie Billings
• Maries Oddy Cobb
• Margaret Watkins Hardiman
• Vivian Mason
• Ruby Martin Payne

The Most Magnificent Lambda Chapter is a seven school charter, these schools include:

• Loyola University
• Chicago State University
• University of Illinois - Chicago
• Roosevelt University
• IIT
• University Of Chicago
• North Eastern Illinois University

In 2020 received  The Most Magnificent Lambda Chapter received the 1st place award for educational development program.
