• Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Incorporated was founded on November 12, 1922 on the campus of Butler University by 7 educators
• The “Oh So Fly” Omicron Chi Chapter was chartered on the campus of Chicago State University on October 2, 1999 by 7 Σigma women
• Omicron Chi was chartered on campus in the dorm room of charter members Farrah Monroe and Shonda Story 
• Won “Sorority of the Year” in 2015; Hosted the most virtual events at CSU during the Fall 2020 semester
