This web page is designed to help the prospective graduate student to apply for admission
online.
Although the Graduate School continuously accepts applications year-round, it is strongly
suggested that the applicant meet published admission deadlines. Late applications
are automatically transferred to the next upcoming term without notice to the student.
To apply for admissions, click on the Start a New Application button.
Step 3: Start Application under Graduate Admission.
Click on the Start Application button.
Step 4: Select your choices and Start Application.
Choose a degree.
Select the program of your interest.
Select your citizenship status.
Select your term.
Step 5: Complete application forms.
Complete your application form and upload the necessary required documents that are
asked to upload.
Step 6: Application Fee.
Applicant should Pay Online before they can submit the application online.
Click SAVE and PAY button
Choose Payment Method - Select Pay Online.
Click the Buy Now button which will route you to the PayPal payment site.
Once your payment is processed. Click Return to Merchant to get back to the application portal and submit the application.
Step 7: Verify and Submit the application.
Read the terms and click the checkbox "I verify all is true and correct"
Sign the application electronically by typing your full name in the Electronic Signature
box.
Step 8: Return Home to the Applicant Dashboard.
You can find the information related to your Application status, Missing Checklist
Items, Application Decision Status, and Registered Events.

Statement of Purpose (An essay describing your interest in the program). Some departments
have specific requirements for Statement of Purpose. Check with the department.
Official Transcripts from all higher education institutions/colleges/universities attended.\
The official transcript must be either sent directly from each university (through
www.escript.com, www.parchment.com or www.studentclearinghouse.com) or must be placed
in a sealed envelope and signed by the university registrar. Unofficial transcripts
are not accepted. An official transcript is not required for Chicago State University
earned credits.
A Course by Course evaluation of all foreign educational credentials (transcripts)
is required and must be reported directly to the university by any of the following and/or
professional evaluation service agencies: Education Credentials Evaluators (ECE) or
World Educational Service (WES).
