Learning Management System Exploration Committee

Click here to sign up for the LMS Exploration Committee, a group of faculty and students who will provide feedback to the CTRE as we examine options for a new system. Our priorities are student success and faculty success, so we’re looking primarily at user experience, cost, integrations, and back-end administrative capacity so that we’re able to provide the best service for the CSU campus. The committee will run from September 1 - October 6, 2023.

Beyond CSU:  Opportunities for Faculty

Faculty Resource Network

The FRN is a professional development consortium sponsoring programs for faculty and administrators from colleges and universities across the country. Each year, CSU purchases an FRN membership that allows us to nominate faculty for the Network's Summer teaching development program at New York University, and the Winter program which takes place at a different location each year. Our membership also allows us to nominate faculty for access to NYU Libraries and other special programs offered on an ongoing basis. Contant the CTRE to find out more or express interest in one or more of these programs. Funding for the summer program is not guaranteed; however, registration, lodging, and meals are free.

Online Learning Consortium

This is for instructors who've taken CSU's Online Course Training or another basic training and want to take your online teaching to the next level. The OLC provides the Advanced Online Certificate Program for interested faculty of member institutions. Reach out to the CTRE find out more about how to take the course.
