Faculty Training and Support

Faculty support for online learning is provided by the Office of Online Instruction (OOI) and Center for Teaching and Research Excellence (CTRE). Examples include:

Regular Workshops

In-person and online workshops for teaching online and using Moodle, such as basic navigation skills, setting up a grade book, and using BigBlueButton for virtual meetings and podcasts are offered during the academic year. Check the CTRE website for details.

One-on-One Training

Both faculty and students are welcome to make an appointment with OOI staff to receive support during regularly scheduled hours in LIB 322 or 323. If you would like to make an appointment, email elearning@csu.edu or click here.

CSU-Instructors

All CSU instructors are automatically signed up for this "course" in Moodle, whether they teach online or not. It is filled with helpful resources and guides on online learning, as well as information about upcoming workshops and Online Certification Training.
