The Pre-Physical Therapy Concentration

Physical therapy (PT) professionals direct programs for the care of individuals whose ability to function is impaired or threatened by disease or injury. Physical therapy serves a wide population in a variety of settings such as hospitals, school districts, and rehabilitation centers. An entry-level doctorate degree is required for this profession. Employment of physical therapists is projected to grow 21 percent from 2020 to 2030, much faster than the average for all occupations.*

The College of Health Sciences offers a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Sciences with a concentration in Pre-Physical Therapy. Following completion of this degree, the student can apply to an entry-level doctoral program in physical therapy at another institution.
