Supply chain management is the oversight of the flow of goods and services—a simple
definition for a complex system. Supply chain management involves planning and the
execution of processes that enable the flow of goods and services, inventory management,
logistics, storage, transportation and risk management—all of which enable business
success.
This program is structured to provide a strong foundation in the supply chain arena,
buttressed by a solid quantitative support from other elements of the College of Business
core curriculum. Additionally, the required coursework integrates with, and builds
upon, an associate-level curriculum in transportation, distribution and logistics
and/or supply chain management.
