Events 

The LGBTQ+ Resource Center was established on October 10, 2019. During the pandemic, some events moved online. Starting in fall 2021, we shifted back to on-campus. Information about some of our activities is available below. Interested in knowing about upcoming events? Contact lgbtq@csu.edu to be added to the mailing list. International Transgender Day of Visibility (TDOV) is March 31. In celebration, CSU welcomes LaSaia Wade, Founder and Executive Director of Brave Space Alliance, to campus. LaSaia is leading a discussion on Thursday, March 28 from 12:30-1:30 pm in the Sunroom (GBL 4th floor). All are welcome! Flyer.

  • Gov. J.B. Pritzker signed the Inclusive Curriculum Law on Aug. 9, mandating that by the time students finish eighth grade, public schools must teach them about contributions to state and U.S. history made by lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people. Read more.
