The Mission of the LGBTQ+ Resource Center is to create a community that is welcoming,
inclusive, and supportive of people of all sexualities and gender identities. We focus
our efforts on advocacy, increasing education, access, retention, identity development,
and community building for queer- and trans-spectrum people.
*The acronym LGBTQ+ is inclusive of people who identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual,
transgender, queer, genderqueer, questioning, intersex, and allies - and respects
intersections of race, color, gender, ethnic or national origin, marital or parental
status, religion, age, ancestry, mental or physical disability, military status, and
veteran status.
