Art & Design students participate in three portfolio assessments:
1) after completing 9-15 credits in Art & Design, typically second year,
2) after completing 19-24 credits in Art & Design, typically third year,
3) during the last semester of study as part of ART 4950 & Senior Exhibition.
In each assessment, students present a selected portfolio of work to demonstrate understanding of learning objectives. Portfolios are reviewed by faculty, and students are provided feedback to develop creativity, skills, and knowledge.
"My study gave me the confidence to explore my chosen mediums with unrestrained curiosity... I received guidance from my professors and instructors that helped shape the program I pursued and my concentrations in photography and ceramics."
