Portfolio Assessment

Art & Design students participate in three portfolio assessments: 1) after completing 9-15 credits in Art & Design, typically second year, 2) after completing 19-24 credits in Art & Design, typically third year, and 3) student portfolios and senior projects are assessed during the last semester of study as part of ART 4950 and CSU Senior Exhibition. In each assessment, students present a selected portfolio of work to demonstrate understanding of learning objectives. Portfolios are reviewed by faculty and students are provided feedback to develop creativity, skills, and knowledge.
