The Diverse Scholar in Education program is a unique program specifically designed for students who have an interest on becoming Pre-K to 12th grade teachers and a desire to commit to leading change efforts to improve educational outcomes for students in urban settings.

Who can apply?All applicants will be considered with a preference given to students entering their freshman year at Chicago State University. To apply to the Diverse Scholars in Education program, a student must enroll in one of the pre-service teaching programs. (Early childhood, Elementary Education, Secondary Education; specific disciplines, Bilingual Education, or Special Education.) |
