If you were previously enrolled at CSU and were in good standing, but had a lapse
in enrollment for two or more years, you’ll need to complete the Returning Student Readmission Form as a first step. There is no application fee.
Your information is sent to the Undergraduate Admissions Office for processing and you’ll be notified of your enrollment status along with any conditions
that must be met as part of your re-enrollment.
Have Questions Before You Restart Your CSU Journey?
If you have questions before you begin the readmissions process about your past credits,
degree programs, or anything else, please contact the Admissions Office at (773) 995-2513,
send an email to ug-admissions@csu.edu.
If you are interested in readmissions and considering changing your degree program,
please be sure to note this in the Readmission Form so the Registrar can help you complete the Change of Major process as you return
to CSU.
If you’ve worked with an Advisor and our Registrar’s Office and have everything you
need, you can start your application.
Do you have questions about whether you should be completing Readmission?
If you have any questions along the way, please email ug-admissions@csu.edu to verify you’re in the right place!

UG Admissions will confirm any conditions that need to be met before you complete
the re-enrollment process.. Most commonly, we need receipt of your official transcripts
from any institutions you’ve attended since Chicago State University.
Once your Readmission application has been processed, please see our Returning Student
Checklist here:
